Good Saturday morning to all.
God has given us some beautiful weather. Enjoy it and be grateful.
Quick note: If you are 60 years of age or older, the Man-Up ministry has a dinner with your name on it. Sign up for it this Sunday after service.

You have heard me say many times we live in a fallen world. Sin is all around us even in the church at large. Sad to say that, but it is the truth. So, here is the question;
How do I have HOPE in a broken world?
Take a moment and read 2 PETER 3:9.
When God looks down at the earth and sees so much sin and foolishness, why does He not shut it down? He is all powerful, yet it keeps going on and on. Why?
Though the world is broken and all messed up, God is STILL in control. The world is moving towards a climax.
God is patient and endures the foolishness and sinfulness of man, because He is still looking for many to cross the line to serve Him and follow Him. That probably includes many in your family and mine as well. He wants all people to enter heaven. That's why Jesus came.
Even though there is evil in this world, God patiently waits for more to enter his kingdom.
I believe God weeps when He sees the people He created hurting each other. He tolerates it for the sake of those not yet saved. But rest assured, there will come a day that God will judge the world properly, and each one will get their just do.
But here is the good news: If you love the Lord and you are His and He is yours, there is no judgment to fear. When we stand before Him on Judgment Day, He will say, "Well done, enter into the joy of your Savior."
Yes, this world is a mess. No matter who is in the White House or Congress. Without Christ as Lord of any situation, home, government or state, brokenness will be its foundation. Don't be fooled. Only Christ reigns. All others are false gods and must fall, and they will. But our God is still looking for one more to save and enter the kingdom.
So, our part in this is:
-Love God with all your heart and soul.
-Share the Good News with those who yet have not said Yes to Jesus as Lord and Savior.
-Live a holy life as an example to others.
