Good Saturday Morning,

I Peter tells us, "You must crave pure spiritual milk so that you will grow into a full experience of salvation. Cry out for this nourishment."

What are you hungry for?---Whatever you are hungry for will be what you will eat.

That kind of hunger can stay with you throughout your life. That should be our desire.

Let me share a few truths about this topic so you will continue to stay hungry.

#1- Remind yourself how much God loves you.

The more you understand God's love for you, the more you will love him.

The more you love Him, the more you will want to know about Him, His will and direction for your life.

#2- Quit eating JUNK food.

There is a lot of spiritual junk food in the world that sounds religious but has little to no strength. Stay in "THE WORD" that is pure. Junk food will make you lazy and fat. The Word of God will give you energy and strength.

Prov. 15:14 says, "A wise person is hungry for knowledge, while fools feed on trash."

#3- Be consisitent in your Word reading.

A hit and miss attitude about reading the Word will not do you any good. It will give you a false sense of strength.

#4- Surround yourself with believers.

You usually hang with people who have the same interests that you do. So, choose people who love God and are hungry for His word.

***So, here is my challenge to you.---Every Wednesday evening we have family Bible study. Come and be fed the PURE WORD found this month in I Peter. You will be fed and you will grow.

Blessings and love,

Pastor G
