Good Saturday morning to you all.
Matt. 5:8 says---God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God.
Are you the same person wherever you go? I think that is a fair question. I will give you a moment to answer it.
Now if you are, that is because you have worked on building your life on values that last.
To "SEE GOD" means to experience God's presence. Believers with pure hearts feel and see the power and presence of God.
They also get to experience three other "P's": The Pardon of God, the Purpose of God, and the Peace of God. I am sure we can place more words there as well.
I am sure we all want to be one of those people.
Now, The word pure in this text is the more common word "integrity."
Integrity is wholeness.
Our lives are not separated like cutting a pie into segments. It is one whole piece (a pie).
Integrity means you are the same person everywhere you go and with everyone you are with---in speech, actions, and attitude, no matter what part of life you are walking through.
Integrity lies in uncorrupted motivation.
Meaning, you do the right thing for the right reason. You are sincere and straightforward in every area of life and with people.
Prov. 11:20 says, "The Lord detests people with crooked hearts, but delights in those with integrity."
Hold on to this: Have more concern about your character and integrity than about your image and reputation.
Let's all commit to being a person of integrity in this life.
