Good Saturday morning to all.
While many of you are reading this blog, many of our men are at the Men's Retreat having a great time. Some are playing and some of us are resting--- which brings me to share this thought with you. Do you know how to "REST and WAIT?" Well if you don't you are in the majority. I am not saying that is good, just a fact.
Sometimes God places a vision or desire in your heart and our immediate response is---When?
Maybe things you have been praying for, believing for by faith. Yet, it has not yet come to pass.
How do you react to those times? When God promises us something, remind yourself of a few things;
1- God can not lie, it will come to pass.
2- Learn to rest and wait.
Often God is working things out and it is always for our good.
When you don't, that is when frustration and anxiety are welcomed in our lives.
Learning to operate in total trust in God's promises are vital to both our physical and spiritual well being.
Scripture tells us---"Be anxious for NOTHING, but pray."
God has been and continues to be in total control of every situation in your life and mine.
Getting all upset and out of joint is not the way for the believer to live in--- the way is to REST and WAIT.
