HEROs Youth

As the dust settles on these dark times, arising from the ashes like a radiant beam of hope arise a band of youth ready to face the challenges and provide answers. Intentionally they don't crave the limelight and they don't fly in, take the glory, and go. H.E.R.O.S is an acronym defined as “Having Eternal Redemption Over Sin”. Our youth ministry HEROS are not perfect kids but they do save lives by using the power of The Gospel. Jesus said “The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:28). We were dead in our sin, but because of his G.R.A.C.E., defined as “Gods Riches as Christ's Expense”, we can have eternal life. Here at HCF the Word of God is the foundation from which we teach. We focus on challenging students to “Love God with all your heart, all your soul and all your mind” (Matthew 22:36). The goal is to know God personally and to serve him fervently. In this diverse world, teenagers need to accept one another for their similarities as well as for their differences. That's why classes are structured to practice communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills with challenging activities.
