Good Morning Married Couples!

I trust you and yours are all well and loving Jesus.

Last Wednesday we touched on a few things that our children learn from us as parents.

I want to share a few more with you. These are not by any means an exhaustive list. But they are a few of the common ones we need to be mindful of. If you can go back and review the ones from last week and you can add these to that list.

#6- Learn to Laugh and be Happy:

I love to laugh. Our children live in a world that breeds depression. Let that not be found in your home. Do you make your kids laugh? Do you laugh at their silly jokes?

#7- Respect:

Respect is earned as an adult, however respect is taught to children. If you do not teach them they will not show it forth. So start by respecting each other as spouses. Never let your child disrespect your spouse, even if your spouse is not their bio-parent.

8- Faith:

Children need to hear you speak about FAITH in God. Have you spoken to them about believing in God for what they may need in their lives? Do they hear you speaking about faith for the needs in your life?

9- Friends:

What are the friends that your children see you hanging with? What are some of the habits that they have? Do you approve of those habits? If not, some adjustments may need to be made.

10- Servant:

Do you demonstrate servanthood at home? Have you brought your child(ren) to help someone out without a payment? Have you ever heard them say to  you---"Can I help?"

***OUR KIDS ARE always WATCHING US---GIVE THEM SOMETHING WORTH LOOKING AT!!!

Blessings to you.

Much love,
Pastor G
